XKCD is een van mijn favoriete cartoons van Randall Munroe. Hieronder zie je enkele van de skeptisch getinte. Het onderschrift komt ook van de site, als je je muis lang genoeg boven de cartoon laat staan krijg je een bijschrift te zien. Er bestaat ook een wikipedia pagina over XKCD, de engelse versie is uitgebreider.

XKCD 1 — Dear editors of Homeopathy Monthly: I have two small corrections for your July issue. One, it's spelled "echinacea", and two, homeopathic medicines are no better than placebos and your entire magazine is a sham.

XKCD 2 — You can do a lot better than 1% if you start keeping track of the patterns in what numbers people pick.

XKCD 3 — Bad flu epidemics can hit young adults hardest because they provoke their powerful immune systems into overreaction, so to stay healthy spend the next few weeks drunk and sleep-deprived to keep yours suppressed.

However, since those once vulnerable institutions are now lead by naked emperors, it's good that the American public, at least those that read the news, has uniformly recognized they have no clothes.
